Integrative Restorative* (iRest) Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) workshop

Join us for a special class with our friend and Certified Yoga Teacher Annemarie Chilton.  Annemarie has been a certified yoga instructor since 2013.  She specializes in Yoga Nidra and meditation practices and has taught over 2000 hours of workshops in yoga and meditation.   Annemarie is a Certified iREST Yoga Nidra instructor.  She is excited to share her knowledge with us in this special series of Yoga Nidra.

Cultivate stillness, relaxation and meditation in your body, mind and life with the practice of iRest Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation, deepening your connection to intentional living, your body and breath, your emotions and thoughts, while welcoming joy and well being, and increasing awareness of yourself and your environment.  iRest is a researched Yoga Nidra practice that, when practiced regularly – little and often – enables you to meet each moment of your life with unshakable peace and wellbeing, no matter how challenging or difficult your situation.

Each week we will focus on parts of the 10 step process of iRest, weaving our study into our bodies and minds during the guided meditation, creating a state of such deep meditation as to resemble sleep, and providing an energetically healing practice.

While engaging in ALL of the 4 sessions will provide the MOST benefit from iRest Yoga Nidra, there are multiple ways to participate!  Our goal is to help you extend your yoga and meditation practices to support you in cultivating healthy life practices.

Classes will be on Tuesdays at Compass Point, 800 North Kansas Avenue in Topeka, 6-7:15.
