Join us for our annual Eagle Hike at a location near Lake Perry. Specific location is pending observed eagle activity prior to the event. DGA will provide an informative talk about eagles and their habits. We will hike approximately 3 miles and we will see an eagle’s nest. We will hope to spot some American Bald Eagles nesting or hovering along the trail.

Detailed directions and suggestions will be emailed by Friday, Jan. 22. This allows us to watch the weather and monitor conditions prior to final instructions.
When: Saturday, Jan. 22nd
Check-in: 12:30 p.m. — specific location TBD.
What: Hike about 3 miles… look for Eagles, be happy! Feel the fresh air, see the sights, meet new friends! Location is subject to change based on trail conditions and eagle activity. This hike is open to anyone who is interested in hiking 3 miles – trail surface is uneven and features some steep inclines and declines.

Dirty Girl Adventures, LLC will provide a guide, support on the trail and docent information throughout the event. We will also monitor the weather and conditions to ensure that our event and participants are safe. Our knowledgeable and informed guide service includes a leading guide and a sweep guide during the hike. Trail support including first aid, knowledge of the environment and locale, safety monitoring, pacing, interpretive information on the environment and location.
In case you are wondering about our refund policy – refunds are given up to one week before the date of the event no questions asked. After that, refunds are not given unless there are exceptional circumstances, during this time, we consider any health concerns a valid reason for a refund. If you feel sick, or have any symptom possibly related to Covid-19 stay home, we’ll send you a refund. Dirty Girl Adventures may cancel an event due to weather or conditions. Everyone will receive a refund if that is the reason for the cancellation. We will paddle and hike in cool, rainy or snowy conditions. Cancellation only occurs in severe weather or other dangerous conditions.
