Journey to Wholehearted Living

This event is SOLD OUT watch for more offerings soon!

Journey to wholehearted living in 2022!

“Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness.  It means cultivating the courage, compassion and connection to wake up in the morning and think No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.  It’s going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am brave and worthy of love and belonging.”

          – Brene Brown, Gifts of Imperfection

Join Dirty Girl Adventures on a special journey, this January, to develop a map that will lead you to wholehearted living during 2022.  This 5 week class will focus on 10 strategies that we can implement to live fully, and generate self-awareness and self-acceptance.

The class includes 5 group sessions at Compass Point.  There will be reading, journaling and other self-reflection activities to guide you along your journey, and safe opportunities to discuss these issues with others in the group.

Art and craft activities will help you move what you have learned from your head to your heart, through your hands.  The art you create will serve as a daily reminder throughout 2022 to keep you on the right path.

Journey to whole-hearted living in 2022 will pull knowledge and information from Brene Brown, Kristen Neff, Rachel Hollis and many other teachers of self-improvement.

This class includes 15 hours of support, guidance and encouragement as well as opportunities to share and discuss your thoughts, ideas and worries.

Class times:  Sundays in January from 2-5pm   (January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)

SOLSTICE HIKE!

The Winter Solstice is traditionally a time to celebrate the return of the sun and to contemplate the coming season.  It’s both the shortest day of the year and the longest night of the year which is a perfect time to gather outside to mark the shift of seasons.
What to expect:   We will hike a loop from our fire/parking spot. The hike will include uneven terrain, steep inclines/declines and rocky areas.  Dirty Girl Adventures recommends use of hiking poles for use on uneven terrain.
What to wear/bring: Headlamp/flashlight, dress in layers with a layer of synthetic fabric closest to your body to wick sweat away and dry quickly. Consider the weather and be prepared with hat, gloves, bandana, good shoes and socks.
Post Hike: We will socialize around the fire. Bring your lawn chair, dinner and beverages for post-hike fire time.
LOCATION NEAR LAKE PERRY TBD! CHECK-IN AT 4:30 P.M.
