February 22 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm$25 – $30
Join us for some time in nature. This event will provide us the opportunity to slow down and intentionally observe, connect and appreciate some quiet time. We will talk about the practice of allowing ourselves to choose the focus and direction of our thoughts, of being present in the moment despite the pull of our many tasks, duties and responsibilities. We will walk, observe, relax and go with the flow of our breath and the nature around us. A good portion of this hike will take place in contemplative silence… mostly because nature is so amazing!
Distance will vary based on the weather and where our feet take us – anticipate 2 or 3 miles. This hike isn’t about distance, it’s about being in nature in a relaxed way without worry or concern for other things. It’s about resting your busy brain and feeding your heart and soul with rest and connection.
Detailed directions for our final location will be determined based on weather and trail conditions but anticipate a location near Lake Perry. This flexibility allows us to watch the weather and monitor trail conditions prior to final instructions. No dogs on this hike.
