It’s time to HIKE!
September 29 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm$10
Join us for a hike at Kaw River State Park on Wednesday September 29th. Even though these trails are right in town, they are a great connection to nature and the beauty in Kansas.
We will gather in the parking lot on the street side of the railroad tracks at 5:30. We will share some exercises that you can do to build strength for future hiking. We will hike together from 5:45 – 7ish then watch the sun go down over the river.
Our goal is to help you build strength, stamina and knowledge of the trail. This is hike number one of our WEDNESDAY HIKE SERIES – check the calendar for the October Wednesday evening hikes.
We will provide a guide and sweep hiker on the trail. We teach the principal of HIKE YOUR OWN HIKE this means that we will leave no Dirty Girl behind – we each hike at our own pace.
What to expect: You will get the instruction you need prior to hiking. We will provide support on the trail, take pictures and help you adjust to hiking your own hike.
Location: Kaw River State Park – park on the street side of the railroad tracks down by the river
Bring/wear: Bug spray, water, a hat, wear comfortable shoes with tread.
