Earth Day Hike!
April 22 @ 5:45 pm - 7:15 pmFree
Join us on Thursday April 22nd for an evening on the trail in celebration for Earth Day. We will take some time to connect to the sights, sounds and smells around us as we enjoy some time on the trail. This will be an enjoyable time to relax and connect with nature – both the forest and the Mighty Kaw. This short hike is relatively level, the ground surface is dirt/mud and there are GIANT Cottonwood trees and views of the Delaware River as well as the Kansas River. We will also be sure to take some trash gathering bags along with us to clean up any trash – we hope we won’t see any trash at all!
